RE: Need Decorating Ideas - Navy Carpet and Tan Furniture
Since you have allot of solids already, I would go with some kind of textured look on the walls. Walmart sells the roller to make it look textured or you can do it yourself with sponges or even a crunched up Walmart bag. Try to use color on the walls (big Pictures) and maybe some color on throw pillows to tie it all together. ... View related article.

RE: Handcrafted Gifts for Men
For boys, anything with their picture on it will make them proud. Also a pencil holder made from a tin can would do. men are a little harder; I'd stick with the baked goods! ... View related article.

RE: Mounting Baby's Mobile On The Wall
I have a home daycare and I have always kept one toy at the changing table for them to hold and look at. It's very distracting and I would change every couple of weeks to a new toy. A mobile may make your baby want to grab at it instead of laying down for you. ... View related article.

RE: Ideas for an Easter Scavanger Hunt
You can do an egg hunt in the dark and let them use flashlights. Also, I like to make a special egg for each child with their name on it and everyone is instructed not to pick up an egg if it does not have their name on it. Kids don't mind hunting eggs in the cold, so I would reccomend doing it outside. We did it inside once and the pictures are awful! Also, I like to put money, coins and dollars in the eggs. ... RE: Making Your Own Party Favors Goodie Bags Out Juice Boxes
Plain brown lunch bags work great too. You can decorate them by putting stripes, polk-a-dots, hearts, painting them, put stickers on them, etc.etc. To make them look fancier, cut the top off before you unfold it with fancy cutting scissors, punch two holes in it with a hole punch, fold over once you have filled with goodies, and string with ribbon, string, yarn, or whatever you have on hand. At Christmas, I made goody bags and used red and green markers to make stripes on the bags and glued the fronts of old Christmas cards on and finished with a pretty ribbon. ... View related article.

RE: Recycled Paint Holders
Tuna cans are the best. Any can will do, yogurt cups, applesauce cups, butter and sour cream tubs, lids are great, milk jugs for the bigger jobs with the top part cut off, empty shoe polish containers, TV dinner trays, meat trays, and muffin pans are great too! ... View related article.

RE: Cleaning Sippy Cups
I have a daycare in my home, so this is a regular chore. I spray clorox cleanup or generic form into the lid, cup and on the insert. I have a cleaning brush that will fit all the way thru the insert. I let them soak about an hour, scrub down, and then wash with soap and water. ... View related article.

RE: Ink On Blinds
You could always cover it with shoe polish or liquid paper if the blinds are wooden. If they are the vinyl kind, you should be able to remove that slat and take one from the bottom and replace it. ... View related article.
