Profile For Dzzzyd - Dzzzyd Daze of D

My husband and I live in a small house that his parents lived in when he was born. We have been working on it for almost two years trying to make it home and still getting his parents things out and our things in. It has ben a job. His Dad died over three years ago and left the house FULL of junk. What a mess it has been. My Husband became ill and we had to move here. He is at least back to work now, but had to go back to an entry level postion. He is doing better and that is what is important. I have not had a job, but now I have been looking for one. It is really hard when you get older, but I am sure something will come along. We always get by and I am a creative sort and try to look on the sunny side. This body can't do the work that my brain is able to do unfortunately. Well, the brain isn't that great either anymore. hahaha!

RE: Singer Tiny Serger Sewing Machine Advice
I know this is late in finding this post, but want to respond anyway. I just bought a Singer Tiny Serger at an Estate sale for $7.00. I thought what the heck it's worth trying. It had everything with it including the book, so I was really lucky. After reading the manual I started threading it as was shown. This was my first experience with a serger, but I have had many other sewing machines, so threading wasn't that confusing. To my delightful surprise it worked, first try. For simple edging this will work great, but for something fancy I'd probably go with another machine. The stitches were even, yet widely spaced. Nothing you could use to edge a napkin or anything. For me this is great for my purpose. Of course now I may want another one so hubby beware! Hope this helps someone. ... View related article.
