My daughters birthday always falls near a Ducks Unlimited Marsh...duck banding day. This is a free day with duck and bird banding, free BBQ lunch and they even build birdhouses. I don't know what you have in your area, but this is a real treat for my daughter and her friends. This is put on by a local outdoors club for kids to encourage conservation. My daughter just loves birds and animals so this is right up her alley! We usually have a sleepover the night before with movie rentals, dinner and cake, then a big breakfast and a day at the marsh. Then we get for ice cream at a local cheese factory and I bring them home. I take lots of pictures on my digital camera and email the best shots to each girl with a thank you; always a big hit! ... There's a great product in Canada called "Goo Gone" you can buy it at hardware or department stores in the cleaner section. I removed really old decals off windows and doors successfully with it. ... View related article.
