| RE: Organize Grocery Coupons By Aisle |
Awesome idea. we do our grocery shopping once a week, we buy only what we need for the weeks meals. this way there is much less waste. we generally shop Sunday mornings since I work six days a week. I sit down on sat. evening after work to feel out a grocery list, we don't use coupons. I would love to but there is just never enough time in our hectic schedules for clipping and saving, let alone trying to set aside time just to do the shopping. I used to spend hours in the Grocery store, and it felt like I didn't have any time after that to do much needed chores.
I started category grocery lists;listing the first section in the store we go to which is the vegie and fruit isle; list all those items needed to buy there, then meats, dairy, breads, canned foods, frozen items, and other. this has made my life so much more simple and the grocery store battle doesn't take near as much time! ... | RE: Using Irish Spring Soap In Laundry Soap Recipes |
|
If you have very sensitive skin beware of using Irish spring for anything. My two daughters and I have been unfortunately cursed with very sensitive skin. My husband loves Irish spring but every time I've run out of my own sensitive skin soaps and reluctantly used his Irish spring (my girls have found this out the hard way as well), we break out in massive itchy rashes. It's awful. So just be careful if you know you have sensitive skin avoid Irish spring. otherwise if not and your blessed with non sensitive skin...go for it! Irish spring smells so fresh and cleans well if not allergic. ... View related article. |

Wow thank you all so much! Ha, ha I love the pet scrunchie idea too we have a chiuahua lol would be so cute. :) and love the idea of getting my girls involved in the sewing. my grandmother taught me a little when I was young, but we never had much time for her to teach me. So I just got the basics, she passed away three months ago at the age of 93 so she never got the chance to finish teaching me. Now it's up to me to learn and to pass it on to my girls :) Thanks so much everyone for the ideas! I so appreciate it :) ... View related article. |

| RE: Use Your Door As A Message "Superboard" |

what a great idea!! We have a metal front and back door to our home. My husband and I both are fabrication welders and we loved the look of the metal doors that were already on the home when we bought it! I kept debating on weather or not to trade them up with wooden doors...but this is a great idea...and could be very useful...I think we will stick with our metal doors and use them :) ... | RE: Make Wiping Squares to Save on TP |
I understand the want to go green and keep the less is more rule for disposable napkins...however when you have a heavy period it is not the best thing to do. besides that, I'm a fabrication welder and there is no way while working, lifting heavy machinery and steel that I could be using these. wish I could...it is understandable...but there would be no way for me to do this in the line of work I do. I can just imagine the awful issues this could cause for me. I do think it is a great idea though for those that are either at home and don't work outside the home, or for those that have laid back jobs. ... View related article. |

| RE: Uses For Single Socks |
We have a baby chihuahua and as babies they don't fit in much of anything as far as doggy attire. For chihuahuas it is not all about making them look cute. They are short haired, small and cold blooded. After purchasing several extra small puppy clothes that she was far to small to fit into. I finally came up with a plan, I took old tube socks which had gotten small holes in the toe area. Cut the toe area off completely. This portion of the sock will be the bottom of the shirt, measure your puppy from neck to the back of the front arms. Measure your tube sock from the ribbed ankle portion down towards the toe and mark the measurement you got while measuring the puppy.
Cut a hole on both sides of the socks where you marked the measurement these holes will be the openings for your puppy's front legs. Now slip over the puppy's head, place front paws threw the holes and your puppy has a sweater that fits and will keep him warm! You can dress the sock up if you like, with fabric paints. ...
