RE: Tips for Cleaning the House
I love a neat tidy house and I get overwhelmed at times but I found that cleaning the bathroom sink and toilet daily bathtub/shower weekly or as needed. Clean the 'easy rooms' like bedrooms, living room, leaving the kitchen last. I also learned that waiting for laundry to pile up for a full load is not always as I don't like spending an entire day doing laundry so every day or so wash a small to medium load as it doesn't take so long to washer to fill as with a full load. Wash heavy items like bedspread comforter weekly as I clean the bedroom. I always taught my 2 daughters to take responsibility with their laundry at 15 that is when they learn to drive a car and keep rooms tidy. ... View related article.

RE: Fridge With a Wide Shelf
I hated side by side refrigerators and went with a bottom mount freezer and it is easier to keep clean. The freezer door swings out like the top and the drawers pull out.
Please look into this type. ... View related article.

RE: Kitchen Appliance Advice
I agree with Debbie, the crockpot is wonderful and there are lots and lots of recipes online. Doesnt heat up the kitchen and you can shop the weekly sales at the grocery store. As for grilling if using charcoal, buy a chimney very easy to use. I dont like alot of small appliances as I dont have that much space..I have a kitchenaid mixer which I love..food processor , and a blender that i dont use that much... I rather use a good knife and cutting boards...one for meats, and veggies. All dishwasher or hand wash by hand.. that is simple living to me.. and doesnt affect electric bill. ... RE: Cleaning Toenails
I have heard of an old timey remedy and that is to cut a hole in a lemon big enough to insert your toes inside the lemon and leave on. Lemon is a natural bleach and the acid will kill the fungus or infection. Use one lemon per toe. Be sure you do this in private because you dont want neighbors think you have lost it lol...good luck!! ... View related article.
