Just a mom--2 kids--teaching school music. I spend my time outside of work in the garden, online, and making stuff. I love to take things that seem to be nothing and make something useful out of them...as opposed to sending them to a landfill.

We had to put our littel gal Heidi to sleep a couple years back. We buried her at home and have planted flowers there year after year. seeds are easy to harvest off of the vines as well--i still have tons of them from vines grown last years--i planted 4 pkgs of seed last year and saved around 200 or more seeds. Anyone need some? I had to smile when reading this question. My mother used to bake chocolate chip cookies with bacon grease----i presonally use and 1/2 grease, 1/2 butter when following a chip wrapper recipe to thsi day my kids refer to them and Grandma Benson cookies---a neat way to remember and honor a granny they were never ble to meet. ...
