RE: Stuffing Balls
If you read this recipe through, you will see in the middle of the instructions it says to add one cup of water. Don't do it. This is from the KraftFoods.com website, actually I saw it on their latest calendar. If you are going to add the water, do it one quarter cup at a time. The full cup is too much water and makes it impossible to make the balls. Ask me how I know this. *giggle* ... View related article.

RE: Mold In My Garage
My water heater got wild and sprayed water on the surrounding wall in my garage. The wall is not painted. Mold grew on the wall. I poured bleach into a spray bottle and sprayed the blackened area. What didn't turn white by the next day was sprayed again. The mold has not returned. Sorry to hear of all the damage to your belongings. ... View related article.

RE: Chimney Sweep Logs
These logs burn very, very hot. Allow plenty of time for them to burn, start early in the day to be certain they are done by bedtime. Things will fall from within your chimney so beware of leaving the door to your stove open. I noticed a smell but I had just stopped smoking and was told thats how come I could smell anything. Its truly a good idea to have your chimney checked by professionals once a year, but the Logs are okay as long as they are not left unattended. Hope this answers your questions.Content-Disposition: form-data; name="feedback_text"

RE: Babysitters Rules vs. Grandma's Rights
If you want to remain close with the family there isn't much you can do but go along with the rules. I side with your opinion but each woman has the right to run her home the way she believes best. Grit your teeth and stay and abide her rules, or bow out of doing such a huge favor for a while. But even though I agree she is being overly bossy, her children, her home, her rules. Best of luck to you. ... View related article.

RE: Peeling Garlic
While a friend and I visited together we peeled one half braid of garlic. First we broke the garlic down to cloves then we peeled. My friend was first to notice a stinging sensation on her finger tips and later so did I so we stopped half way through our intended job. It turns out we both got blisters from the acids in the garlic juice. Our recommendation is that you wear gloves, surgical gloves work very well, when you are peeling garlic. No sense finding out your are sensitive the hard way. :) ... View related article.

RE: Lilacs Love Eggshells
You can make short work of eggshells by putting dry ones in a plastic, but I prefe paper bag and hit them with a mallet or roll with a rolling pin. Then BURY them around the base of the plant, but not deeply. You do not want to disturb the roots. Your plants will show their love with even more flowers for you to enjoy. Apply a couple of egg shells crushed once a month if you feel the need. I hope I have answered your questions. ... View related article.
