RE: Request: Valentine's Day Question
Valentine's Day is basically for romantic love. You might buy a Valentine card and/or chocolates for your the person you love. Some couples celebrate by having a romantic dinner or evening together. Good old capitalism has enlarged the original meaning of the holiday to encourage everyone to buy gifts and cards for all those we care about. If you have children in elementary school, they may be expected to buy or make valentines for all of their classmates. If you decide to buy Valentines for your friends, be careful to choose friend messages. The safe way to give chocolates is to give them to a group of people. It is a very fun and romatic holiday, and you can decide how broadly you wish to participate. ... View related article.

RE: Stainless Steel Sink
I use a product I bought at a "Smart & Final" store. It is called, logically enough, Stainless Steel Cleaner. The manufacturer is Iris. If the cheaper alternatives don't do the trick, perhaps this will. ... View related article.

RE: Inexpensive Wedding Centerpieces
The biggest wedding I ever attended had centerpieces that were made up of a vase and flowers. The vase was made of a clear tube of glass. The bottom of the tube was shaped like a heart and the ends of the tube opened up to hold one flower each-try your local craft store. Less flowers save money. Another idea I have seen is getting baskets, they don't have to match, and could be bought at a thrift store. Fill the baskets with tissue paper to match the decorations. Then add flowering plants in the plastic trays that are usually used for planting in the garden. These trays are sold in the garden section of the store and are not pretty the way they are, but the basket and tissue paper conceal the fact that they are not yet planted. I got to take the plants home and had lovely begonias in the garden ever after that. Congratulations and best wishes! ... View related article.
