I was dx with FM/CFS in 2006. Now dx with Hashimotos Thyroidism this past year (2010) I cannot work and now that we are on a very limited income (my hubby works for the state of CA so there is that too) I look for ways to be as thrifty as possible. It isn't easy. We have not had to worry about money until about a year ago when the Gov. decided to cut his pay and now wants to cut it more. Finding this site, I hope, helps.
We have five kids between us, so we need to do all we can. We have two that started college last year and 3 in high school. They are bottomless pits when it comes to food. ;)
