| Trouble Making a Coffee Mug Chocolate Cake

I have a question about the chocolate cake in a mug. It was really easy to do but it was flat tasting. Not much chocolate flavor at all and I used a new bakers chocolate container. What did I do wrong?

I am not a cake connoisseur but this is tasty and definitely quick and also thrifty because you don't have to bake an entire cake (which might not all be eaten before spoiling) to fulfill a craving. If you like small portions, it's good for two servings.

| Microwave Coffee Mug Cake Using Cake Mix

About a year ago there was a recipe here for a cake made in a coffee mug. Cake (or brownie) mix and some other ingredients were combined in a mug then microwaved. I lost the recipe. I checked through the recipe archive but couldn't find it.

 I traded a piece of unwanted polyester to a friend to make her friend a seat cover for her porch swing for about 30 lb. of chocolate cake mix. Besides making cake-in-a-mug and a little in the topping mix for cherry crisp I am at a loss as to what to do with so very much of it.

Mix ingredients in mug and bake in microwave for 3 minutes. To make a pudding, add Whiskey/Brandy/Liquor to pudding when taken out of oven and add a dollop of cream.

Recipe for Molten Chocolate Cake Hot Milk Drink. In a small saucepan, combine milk and syrup over medium-low heat, stirring. Be careful not to let it boil. Pour into glass mug.

Don't have a sharpening stone? Use a ceramic mug with a rough base. Turn mug upside down and using your opposite hand, hold the mug in place with the mug handle. Carefully run the blade at a slight angle across the bottom of the mug. Always do this with blade moving away from your body.

My son had a mug of hot chocolate in a place that specializes in all things chocolate. It advertises this beverage as the "best in this state, the nation" or some such thing.
