Credit Card Frequent Flyer Miles

Use one Visa/MasterCard and charge everything; my card is $60. a year but is well worth it if you charge everything and pay your bill each month to avoid interest. Deposit all your income to your checking account, leave a little out for pocket change, then you have the money to pay your credit card bill. You also have a good record of your spending habits too! Make your money work for you.

When applying to your preferred airline, get one account number for your joint charge card account. You can give your spouse a free ticket. Then you have two people working for one goal. For years we flew to Hawaii using frequent flyer awards to upgrade to business and first class for the same price as economy fare in "scrunch class."

Tips: Pay electric, oil, cable TV, gasoline, car repairs, food, AT&T long distance on Internet, etc.

Editor's Note: This is a good idea using cash back awards cards, also.
