Google's Back Button Issue In Internet Explorer

Back-button not working in Google? If your back-button has stopped going back to the previous page(s), you can do one of two things:

  1. Double-click the back-button rapidly twice, and it'll take you back.

  2. Go to Google's Home page and in the upper right-hand corner, select SEARCH SETTINGS; now scroll to the bottom of the page to QUERY SUGGESTIONS and uncheck the prompt: Provide query suggestions in the search box. Select the prompt: Do not provide query suggestions in the search box.

This is a known issue with Internet Explorer 8. There is nothing wrong with your computer.

There seems to be some competition between IE8 and Google. I got mad at IE8 and changed to Firefox. I love it!
