Use rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer to clean dry erase boards. As a teacher, I found board cleaner did not get my boards completely clean. I poured alcohol into a spray bottle and only use it on my boards now. Much cheaper than board cleaner.

I tried cheap hair spray& wiped with micro fibre cloth, made me gag a bit but did the job nicely.
Like me, you may have experimented with various cleaning solutions, including the vinegar and baking soda solution.
In addition to vinegar, baking soda has also been recommended as a flexible ingredient to get rid of stains on surfaces and clothing. Old dry erase markers and even permanent marker stains can be removed with a mixture of baking soda and water.
