  • 1 can of chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • cooked rice
  • Louisiana hot sauce

Directions:

Heat olive oil in a skillet. Cut Kielbasa sausage into 1/2 inch circles. Add sausage, chopped yellow onion, and minced garlic. Saute for 15 minutes. Add kidney beans, chicken broth, and cayenne pepper. Turn heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for 45 minutes.

Serve with hot cooked rice and plenty of Louisiana hot sauce. Leftovers taste even better the next day! This serves 4 hungry people.

I received a message with info on the Kielbasa sausage, but now I've lost it!! Thank you! to whoever posted. However, I have never seen Polska Kielbasa in our shops (Republic of South Africa), but will try local Boerewors or pork sausage.
