Ingredients

  • 1 lb. black-eyed peas or 2 cans black-eyed peas, drained
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 1 medium red onion, chopped
  • Advertisement

  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 Tbsp. pimentos
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp hot pepper sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped garlic or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Directions

Mix mashed peas with dressing in a bowl. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Use with various kinds of chips or crackers.

This is a great recipe. We have been making this for years and my daughter, a true "southern lady" introduced it to her Navy friends in Conneticut. They loved it.
