Thrifty Fabric Softener

I use half the soap listed for my washing liquid. I add 2 Tbsp. of baking soda and fill the rinse with vinegar. I cut sheets into four and use only a piece in the dryer. You would never know the difference and let me tell you, $1.50 for a bottle of vinegar (same size softener is almost $10.00) and it's better for the environment.

The vinegar will help to keep your pipes clean & flowing good, too! Great ideas that you have!
