I wrote in awhile back regarding rabbits eating my veggies. I received a number of responses and I actually purchased a friendly trap so that I could catch and release it in the surrounding countryside. I gave up trying to save my garden after catching sight of the culprit though. (He doesn't eat that much.) At first we thought it was a neighbor's pet, because it didn't seem to be too afraid of us.
The following day I shot the second photo from our front yard. I haven't seen him since. He comes and goes at will. I explained on my blog that he's the original Easter Bunny and the youngsters in my extended family were delighted to finally see the elusive fellow actually exists. Now, if I could just capture the real Tooth Fairy too, I'll be legendary.

Lots of wild rabbits are quite tame. Some will even come if you whistle. Some, when they get used to you, will follow you around. Don't try to touch one, though -- they will bite!
He's a big one! When we stayed at one of the resorts at Disney World they were all over the place! I've never seen anything like it.
We have tons of rabbits and squirrels, moles and even raccoons in our backyard and front. We have just put in a veggie garden and we also have an orchard. I found it most useful to have clover all over by the garden or even away.
Let them eat clover? I wouldn't try to fool the Easter Bunny. Or try to catch the Tooth Fairy. You're talking serious repercussions.

I think it might be a hare not a bunny. It looks like it and arrives at the right time to be a hare.
