Painting Fiberglass Boards Around a Tub?

We purchased a very old house. The previous owners put up fiberglass boards around the tub to make it a shower. It is stained with rust. I would like to paint the fiberglass boards around the tub. Any ideas on how to do that?

Oil based Kiltz. Oil based colored overcoat paint of your choice. You use Oil based because it will be more likely to keep the water out from under it, and more likely to keep the rust from bleeding through. I prefer outdoor pain in bathrooms and kitchens, since they hold up to rain, humidity and changing temperatures better than indoor paint.

ALSO: go to a home improvement store and talk to the paint person. They may have a specific product that they think is best for this project.
