I have two fruitless pear trees. One looks really good and the other, looks very pale this year. The leaves are a light green. They're about 6 years old. I am afraid I will lose it. Maybe someone out there can tell me what I might do.

If your trees are ornamental pears which are fruitless, I have had the same problem. I was told a fungus that is air born can cause this. My leaves will turn brown and dry up the whole limb. My husband takes pruning shears and dips the blades in bleach after each cutting. This eliminates the spread of the fungus. Each Spring we spray with liquid copper. Hope this helps.
