Younger Dog Attacks Older One?

My sister-in-law has two female Dachshunds. The younger of the two attacks the older one and has even injured her leg. They are at their wits end as to what to do. Will having her spaded help?

Getting both dogs fixed should help.
Perhaps your sister is giving more attention to the older dog, and the younger puppy is jealous. Maybe your sister isn't paying attention to either dog, and the younger dog is doing what she knows will get her attention.
Are the dogs getting exercise? The younger dog may just have too much pent up energy. My puppy dog starts growling and chasing the kitties if she misses her daily walk.

Either way, definately get the dogs spayed. It prevents so many behavioral and health problems, and it is the responsible thing to do.

Definitely they both should be spayed. Unwanted puppies and the mess of having a dog in heat will only make the situation worse.
