I don't think you can because the paper might get wet.

Does anyone know how to remove sharpie marker from a yearbook page? It's on glossy color pages.

I had this happen on a picture, and I used a small amount of nail polish remover (on a cotton ball).
Gentle strokes eliminated the marks. Try in a small area first and see if this helps. (06/24/2005)

I used pure acetone (its an ingredient of fingernail polish) and a Q-tip. I got most of the color out doing this. Then to get out areas with concentrated ink saturation: wait for the acetone on the paper to mostly dry, put a little bit of white out over the stubborn spot, and then use a Q-tip soaked in acetone to gently wipe off the white out. The ink should come out as well. Just be careful you do not get the paper so saturated that it starts to peel (10/29/2007)

I scribbled out the pic of a girl, but she ended up later being my best friend. I used Hawiian Tropic sun lotion. I put it on a damp cloth, then gently rubbed, now I have a new looking yearbook with a shiny, clear best friend. Have fun! (04/02/2009)
