Put the sand in a jar, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil stir and close the cover. After a few days the scent will be so very nice. (01/07/2011)

I put five pounds of sand in a bowl, then poured in twelve ounces of Fabuloso Lavender, then filled up the rest of the bowl with rapidly boiling water. I stirred it well till it cooled down, drained off the water above the sand's surface, then spread it out over a cookie sheet and let it air dry. Nice!
