Non-Traditional Wedding Shower?

My sister is having a non traditional wedding shower. I need ideas for games for couples to play together or men vs women. It's going to be in a park. Thanks for any ideas!

One game I recall for couples is a version of the old "Newlywed Game" where you ask the women questions about their partner and vice versa. They can be like "What would you say your husband is most like: a roaring lion, a cuddly teddy bear, a devoted dog or a funny monkey?" They can be ridiculous or serious but have a mixture so it doesn't get repetitious. The couple with the most right answers gets a prize. The old Newlywed Game is often on reruns so you can watch the show for ideas.

You could also do a "Battle of The Sexes" type game. You could either play as teams (all the gals against all the guys) or individuals (still gals vs. guys, but elimantaions as you go along). Ask the ladies questions that fall into the traditionally male realm -- cars, sports, tools, wepons... anything considered traditionally a "guy thing", and ask the men traditionally female questions -- cooking, flowers, fashion, makeup.... anything traditionally female. Then give prizes for whoever gets the most questions right.

Another twist on this could be having the ladies do a traditionally male task and the men do a traditionally female task, and see who does the best job.

And one final twist, you could have the ladies take a traditionally female task, say.... cooking an egg and write a step by step instructions and then have the guys try to do the task, but they can only do EXACTLLY what it says.... if they didn't say get out a frying pan, but went straight to place egg in frying pan, they can't do it. Of course, the men have to write instructions for the ladies on how to do a traditionally male task too. The prize can go to whoever wrote the clearest set of directions, the one that the other group was able to follow the furthest.

The main thing is to have fun!
