Bamboo Palm Plant is Losing Leaves?

I have a bamboo palm indoors that is losing leaves after they turn brown. The stems are drooping and growth has stopped. What am I doing wrong?

Try spraying the leaves immediately with Liquid Sea Kelp mixture as directed on the bottle. Check to see if there is adequate filtered natural lighting, no gas heating or chemical sprays in air, no cats near the soil. Bend down and smell to see if it smells like plain dirt, moldy, or like a cat box? If so, repot it immediately and keep spraying twice a month with Sea Kelp mixture.

It's wonderful if the plant it not too far gone. Don't use tap water, either. Let it sit out 24 hrs. in a gallon jug without a lid so the chlorine can escape! Water when soil is dry about 2" deep. If there is mold of any color, or white residue, it could be the problem from tap water. God bless and help you. : )

Hi there Friend, My Hubby has same very Beautiful Plant and the exact same was happening. He sought advice from a good local gardening service, whom was deliverring some natural garden potting mix, and they came and had a kookie. He told us to remove all leaves that had turned brown as these take all the goodness away from the rest of the plant. We did this and the plant began reviving overnight. We also do not ever feed it tap-water, we give it the same water we drink a cheap brand from Supermarket.

We also put in a few natural stones (clear Quartz) and discovered it does not like too much direct sunlight, more Filterred Sunlight.
Our Natural Garden Supplier is now amazed as is everyone whom comes to visit, as the plant is only 5 months old, yet looks like 5 years. Good Luck! Hope this Helps your Plant.

Hi there, Yetta again. I forgot that we were also advised to remove it from it's soiled pot, place it in a glass bowl pot with stones instead of sand or soil. We only have to water it when the water gets low. Don't be concerned if the stones turn greenish, this is not mould or anything nasty to your plant, but helps to feed it naturally. Good Luck my friend.
