Reviews of Aurawave Pain Reliever?

Has anyone tried the AuraWave that is currently being sold on late night TV? I'd love to hear your opinions! Thanks in advance.

Please don't ever buy anything from infomercials. I work at the other end taking your orders and I just want to scream into the phone for the customers not to buy these products, but I cant cause I need a paycheck. Most infomercial items are not what they say they are, are very hard to return or are very hard to get your money back. Don't ever get suckered into automatic shipment programs either. If you want an item, please Google item name and then reviews after the name and reviews about the product should pop up and you can read all the good and bad about a product. Please only order from a reputable company.

I agree with the above poster. If the Aurawave Pain Reliever actually did relieve pain significantly, the maker of this product would be selling it to hospitals and doctors offices and the makers of pain relieving drugs would be up in arms. Alternately, the product would have been bought out by a huge manufacturer in order to the sell it to the masses for years to come, thus becoming a billionaire.

Infomercials are 10% product and 90% hype. If the product turns out to be of at least "some" value (doubtful), it will soon be available in Walgreens and Walmart. They both have "As Seen On TV" sections.

I think I know what it is, or at least what it looks like. We've had them in Japan for years, and no they are not pain relievers, they are electronic muscle stimulators. Chiropractors and physical therapists use big versions of them. They feel like someone is giving your muscles where the pads are placed a deep massage. I have one, an Omron Elepuls and have used it for years. I love it for a tense back. However, if you want one, I'd get one from a reputable maker if I were you. And, repeat, it is not a pain reliever.

Me again. I just realized how much they are charging for it! That's more than three times the amount the same type of thing sells for here! Somebody is doing a number on people.

I am not sure what you guys are saying here as I have used many chiropractor big TENS machines in there offices as well as small cheap TENS machines and from my own experience and everything I read, they are designed for pain relief and that's what they give me. The small cheap ones dont feel very good but I bought this Aurawave and OMG, its amazing and feels better and works better than the big office ones.

I use it everyday. I had no problem with this company or buying anything from TV commercials as I believe they are closely watched and regulated.
I found this on CNN and the discussions at the bottom of this article is very relevant to these previous post as well as the Health Care industry

I have never used this brand, but I have been to therapy for my ankle after each of my seven surgeries and each time they have used something like this and a big one. It helped so much. I have also been to therapy for my sciatica and carpal tunnel and they used it each time, awesome.

My chiropractor also uses it with heat before my adjustments. If this is anything like the ones they use, then its worth it. I was thinking about getting one, but I am wary since its on an infomercial.

The tv promotion claims that the Aurawave have the FDA approval for the market (this is the promo for Latin America). I contact the FDA division of medical devices and they do not have any record of this device. They asked for the number of approval that the FDA assign to each device or product when it is clear. With this number they can review their records for investigation mede to validate this device.

The only way to get this number is to contact who (if possible) manufacture this device and ask them for the number. At the promos for Latin America the telephone numbers and websites all are from latin countries none of them from the us. I will search with google to see for any information, maybe at QVC or other website. Hector, Puerto Rico

I found the device at QVC website. I place the question about the FDA number of approval. The respond was that the question will not be answer by email and not on the air. But that i keep looking the program to see if my question is answer. So if anyone see the answer let us know.Hector, Puerto Rico

Check with a neurologist or licensed sports medicine physician before going further. This is a medical device. The company must give you an FDA approval number so you can check validity.

This type of device was removed from sale in the USA without a prescription from an MD. Can be dangerous if not used properly.
