Why do my Hotel brand 100% cotton bed sheets pill? I purchased mine at TJ Maxx and my daughter got her's from Macy's.

My daughter got a set of 200 count sheets that are cotton/polyester, and we have never had trouble with this blend pilling, but this set pilled before they had been laundered twice. The next time we went to the store where they were purchased, I looked at the package and it had the term "ring" spun or woven, somthing with "ring" in it anyway. I figure that must be why they are pilling. Anyway we will be careful to not buy any with that term on the package again.
