Holiday Candy TrainsGlue 1 ribbon onto wide side of gum package, 1 raisin package, 2 more gum packages and 1 more raisin package, spacing cars about 1/2 inch apart.

 

Poppin' Fresh BarbecupsIn large skillet, brown ground beef; drain. Add barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and onion. Set aside.

 

Baked Beef HeartCombine flour, salt and pepper; dredge heart. Brown heart like beef steak, brown onions with heart. Put in 1 1/2 to 2 quart casserole; add soup and 1/2 soup can water.

 

Shortcut StroganoffHeat oil in pan, add beef and cook just until browned. Add soup, broth, water, worcestershire sauce and pasta. Heat to a boil cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes, stirring often. Add sour cream heat through.

Straining Goats MilkFor straining goat milk I bought a new plastic transmission funnel (for only $1.00), and pushed a large cotton ball into it, loosely so the milk can flow easily. Because of the long funnel, it holds a lot of milk at one time and doesn't turn over.

 

Newspaper Toy for KittensRip up the Sunday paper and put the strips in a shallow cardboard box. I have kittens and this is their favorite toy. At night the kittens sleep in my daughter's room and we can't always find them.

 

Hawks Float IdeasI need a theme for my float. Our team mascot is the Hawks and we are black and gold. The team we are playing is the Cougars and they are blue and silver. The school says nothing that could be considered animal cruelty in our theme. Any ideas?

 

Small High Powered FlashlightsHow can you tell in the store if a flashlight puts out much light? I just paid $3.99 plus tax for a flashlight with a key ring that is about 3 inches tall called the "Mini-Bright" by Dorcy with TRUE SPOT REFLECTOR (what ever that means). I am not impressed with the amount of light it puts out. But this is not the first time I have been less than impressed with a small, purse sized flashlight.
