Herbed Dinner TrianglesPreheat oven to 375 degrees F. In small bowl, combine cheese and thyme. Also stir in dill and basil if a heartier flavor is desired. In separate small bowl, whisk egg white and water. Separate dough into 8 rectangles; press together perforations with fingers to seal.

 

Amish Oatmeal CakeFor a simple healthy dessert, this Amish Oatmeal Cake cannot be beat. It was a childhood favorite. Place raisins in a small bowl and pour boiling water over them. Stir well and cover.

 

Butter Cookie Dough Peach CobblerMix flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl and set aside. Beat butter and sugar until well blended. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour mixture; stir until just combined.

 

Garlic Lime ChickenPreheat grill. Mix all ingredients except the chicken in a plastic or glass bowl. Wash and pat dry the chicken. Add chicken to the marinade. Cover and place in refrigerator of 1 hour. Remove chicken from marinade (discard marinade).

 

Mock GS Tagalong CookiesMelt chocolate discs in microwave on half power until melted, stirring frequently. Spread a small amount of peanut butter onto the Ritz cracker and while holding it with the tongs, spoon melted chocolate over the peanut buttered side first.

My Favorite Sandwich: Mill Valley Or TomatoMy Favorite Sandwich: It's a tie between a Mill Valley sandwich and a tomato sandwich. With Mill Valley (apparently a town in California where it originated), you use a very moist whole wheat bread, preferably home made.

 

Hawaiian Delight DessertFor crust, combine crumbs and butter in medium bowl; mix well. Press crumb mixture onto bottom of 12x8 inch baking dish. For filling, prepare pudding mix in large bowl according to package directions, using 3 cup milk.

 

Orange Spiced CarrotsThis recipe plays on the natural sweetness of the carrots, and goes well with pork or duck. Combine the marmalade, 1 Tbsp. water, brown sugar, butter and seasonings in a 3 quart sauce pan and bring to a slow boil, making sure to dissolve the brown sugar.

 

Green Beans And Rice AmandineIn 2 qt. saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, red pepper and garlic; cook and stir 3 minutes. Stir in broth, pepper and dried basil, if using. Bring to a boil.

 

Herbed Garlic BreadPreheat oven to 400 degrees F. In small bowl, combine butter, 1 Tbsp. of the parsley, dill weed, oregano and garlic powder; spread onto both sides of bread slices.
