Squash RelishDissolve salt in 3 quarts water in large kettle. Soak next 4 ingredients in salted water for 1 hour. Bring remaining ingredients to a boil in large kettle. Add drained vegetables to syrup mixture.

Hungry Man's CasseroleBrown ground beef in skillet, stirring until crumbly. Pour off drippings. Add next 6 ingredients, mixing well. Cook for 10 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients except grated cheese in bowl, mixing well.

Basic Sweet MuffinsCombine first 3 ingredients in bowl, mixing well. Mix dry ingredients together. Add to liquid mixture, stirring until just mixed. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes.

Cherry BrowniesSpread 2/3 of dough on cookie sheet (11x15 inches). Spread can of cherry pie filling over top. Take the rest of the dough and swirl over the top. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes (do not over bake, they should just be golden brown).

Creamy Orange-Pineapple SaladDrain pineapple, reserving juice. Add enough water to reserved juice to measure 1 cup liquid. Bring liquid to a boil. Add to gelatin and cream cheese in mixing bowl. Beat until smooth. Cool stirring occasionally. Fold in remaining ingredients. Pour into mold. Chill until firm.
