Chicken AmericanCoat chicken with flour. Arrange chicken in single layer, skin-side-down, in melted butter or margarine in 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake covered, at 425 degrees F for 30 minutes.

 

Creole Sauced ChickenI love this recipe served over linguine or rice with all the sauce spooned over it.

 

Hamburger Taco SoupI love Mexican foods but dislike soup using chicken. The weather got cold here so I decided to make tacos in soup form.

 

Sweet Potato BiscuitsSift flour and cut in shortening. Add sugar and sweet potatoes. Stir in buttermilk. Use a little more flour if needed to make dough stiff. Knead lightly on floured board

 

German Raisin CakeSet oven to 500 degrees F. When ready to put cake in oven, reduce heat to 350 degrees F. Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks. Sift flour and baking powder; add alternately with milk.

 

Applesauce CookiesThey are simple and very moist! Cream margarine and sugars. Add egg, mixing well. Add flour, and all dry ingredients alternately with applesauce.

 

Ham and Noodle CasseroleMakes a large amount and freezes so well. A great dish to take for funerals and family get-togethers.

 

Sausage Potato SoupPut first 5 ingredients in pot; cover with water almost to the top of the vegetables. Cook until done. Stir in instant potatoes; add milk and butter.
