What causes dark marks on my livingroom ceiling? They appear anywhere the attic floor insulation has been disturbed. Also it marks the ceiling rafters where they meet the outside walls. I can paint over it using Kilz plus another finish coat, but it reappears in about eight months.

Borage and Rosemary Wine
Steep a rosemary and dried borage leaves in one bottle of white wine for a week or more. Strain through cheese cloth or a paper coffee strainer.
Maraschino Cherry Nut Bread
Beat eggs, sugar, flour, salt, and baking powder together. Add juice from cherries. Add chopped cherries and nuts. Bake in greased and floured pan at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
Soak rice in water 15 minutes. Heat 2 tablespoons shortening and fry onion until light brown. Add cumin seeds, cinnamon sticks, cardamoms, bay leaves, and cloves; fry for one minute. Add peas and fry for another 5 minutes.
Old Fashioned Potato Salad (with a new twist)
In at least 1 quart boiling water, in covered saucepan, cook potatoes with 1 tablespoon salt until fork tender, about 2 minutes after coming to a boil. Drain well in colander.

Pepper and Eclissi (Cats)
Pepper will be 4 later this month, and Eclissi will be 4 in April. Pepper is classic silver mackerel tabby with very close fur and well-defined nearly black stripes. Pepper is the size of a kitten, a very petite oriental type and cross-eyed.
Dusty is a 2 years old Morkie, but took more of the yorkie. I found Dusty for sale on line about a 100 miles from us in Wisconsin. Dusty loves to play with two other morkies we have.
