Ginger Ale (Switchel)

Ingredients

• 4 Tbsp. cider vinegar
• Ground ginger (sprinkled)
• 3 tsp. (rounded) sugar

Directions

Add ingredients to a large glass. Fill large glass with cold water from the well. Stir. For fun, rinse a fresh dandelion stem with water (to remove bitter taste) and use it as a straw. This corresponds with a drink called "switchel" which can be found in old-fashioned rural American recipe books.
