I use them for wet/smelly garbage. Holds the odor in pretty well and prevents a leaky mess in the garbage pail.

The bags are Mylar reather than alum. and can be heat sealed to store any number of things, if you have a vacuum sealer that's even better, Mylar is impervious to water and you won't lose vacuum if properly sealed.

I use these bags when I am breading chicken or chops and also I use them when I want to pound out a porkchop or steak to make stuffed steak or chops. They do not tear when you use a mallet on the meat. Also good for chicken breasts.

You can tie them to fruit trees to scare birds away. GG Vi

I have shredded the bags and used them for gift baskets. Be sure to wash and dry thoroughly first! They make great fill!

If they are real foil, use them to put ears of corn in on the grill. If they are mylar, don't.

Alum foil should never come into contact with food especially acidic foods. especially tomatoes. I would not pound my chicken with it. Aluminum is poisonous it accumulates in the body tissues and is very dangerous for health. Sharon Wilde new member and student naturopath
