Use Envelope Backs For Scrapbooks

Junk mail just got useful! Since I starting scrapbooking, I began saving colored, large backs of envelopes from my junk mail. It is great for backgrounds. I have also used these "scraps" for card-making.

Are these envelopes acid free, or don't you care if the products you use are acid free? For my scrapbooking I use only acid free products. I even make copies of newspaper articles on acid free paper before putting them in scrapbooks.
