Any ideas where I can purchase inexpensive water pitchers? I need 28 for a party. We are using 14 tables serving lemonade and water and instead of pouring individual glasses all evening I thought it would be a good idea to leave pitchers at each table. Some guess will want water. I'm sure. Tight budget! Also any ideas for rolls? Bread baskets or served on the plate?

If I were you, I would check with a rental center. You may be able to rent them very cheaply.

Check out any restaurant supply store. They usually have used stuff for sale really cheaply.

If you or someone you know attends a church, they often have pitchers and probably even bread baskets that they would maybe let you borrow as long as they didn't have anything going on the same day. I have even borrowed a couple tables from our church for a garage sale. Hope this helps!
If there are others involved in this event, ask them to bring pitchers from home. We did this with beverage pitchers, china, silverware, etc. for a benefit fashion show and luncheon at our church. We asked only that they be clear and not great-grandmother's heirlooms!
How about your local fire company. Ours rents out their space-and has many supplies for the parties. Know someone on the auxillary? or become a member and they might let you use them for free.
