Roll Clothes When Packing

When packing shirts or blouses (or even shorts and slacks), in your suitcase, instead of folding them flat try rolling them up. They will not wrinkle nearly as much, and you will actually be able to fit more clothes in your suitcase.

My dad, a navy vet, used to tell us the same thing! I grew up hearing that very tip! It's also much easier to get your clothes out of the suit case, and you're able to get more into the case as well!

Not only does it work for clothes for traveling, but for your towels and dishtowels in drawers or on shelves. You actually can put more in. I compared...

Yeppers, the Marines taught my son the same thing. Worked much better too, since his "suitcase" was a duffel.
