Fruit Crisp

This recipe is low in sugar, low in calories, and has 0 g fat. Yum!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped peaches, pears, apples, etc.
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice

  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup raisins, fresh cranberries, fresh berries

Topping:

  • 1 cup dry oatmeal
  • 1/8 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. whole wheat flour or wheat germ
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 apple sauce (no sugar added)
  • Nonfat vanilla yogurt

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Layer fruit in baking dish lightly coated with non-stick cooking spray. Add lemon juice, sugar, and raisins or berries. Toss to blend.

Combine oatmeal, sugar, flour or wheat germ, cinnamon, and apple sauce. Squeeze through hands and distribute evenly over fruit. Bake 35-45 minutes

Serve topped with a dollop of nonfat vanilla yogurt.
