  • 10 cardamon pods - seeds
  • 4+ cups flour

Directions:

Mix milk, sugar, butter and salt together and cool. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add to milk mixture. Add 2 cups of flour and mix until very smooth. Add eggs. Add 2 more cups flour and let stand while you crush seeds from cardamon pods. Add seeds to mixture. Add more flour until dough is sticky but can be handled. Place dough on floured board and knead for 10 minutes. Let dough rise until doubled. Punch down and let rise again. Braid into 3-4 loaves. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. (No, the name of this recipe is NOT a mistake!) :)

Re: Grandma's Biscuits....
Hmm. Are you sure? 1 1/2 cups sugar? Surely this is a misprint. Could someone please check on this recipe post.
