Are there any people that have their kids in pageants? Can someone tell me how you do the spray-on tan?

Hi there, I used to work for a spray tanning salon and am an avid tanner myself, I cannot stand streaks, blotches or orange or yellow finishes so here's my tips:
First, it is essential that you ex foliate well prior to self tanning, I mean for at least two days in advance, the BEST way is not to use harsh scrubs as they spread bacteria, use a simple wet face cloth with a simple foaming face/body wash, I recommend Sebamed face/body wash. Go over every each in a gentle but still effective circular motion, paying attention to knees, elbows, ankles and hands.
You can do this in the shower, so for example if you want to tan on Sunday, I would ex foliate tonight and tomorrow night then on the Sunday apply the tan.
OK now the actual tanning process its self.. what tan are you using? Careful I can tell you most are foul, some you might try are St.Tropez, Palmers or Neutrogena Sunless Tanning Spray. Apply as per instruction, but just try to keep the can at least 20cm away from your body and maintain an even steady spray.
Definitely ensure the room your in is ideally tiled as it WILL stain everything, I throw a few old towels around in my bathroom to stop any over spray. Also ensure the room is cool, if its too hot your tan will not dry evenly if at all and will go blotchy.
Lastly try to do it when your at home by yourself so you don't get water on your developing tan or you will streak, be mindful of, condensation off drinks, they will drip on you! washing you hands, again the drips, closing car doors that are wet, again, drips!
Sleep in your tan, next morning, shower it off. Ensure you don't have too long of showers and follow the golden rule.. I shall moisturize immediately after I have showered. This will keep your tan fab for 5 -7 days!
What type of spray on tan should I get for my 6 old?
I work with a company that uses pure, safe, and beneficial ingredients in all of our products. Having a daughter myself (and a son on the way in about 5 weeks!!) I am super cautious about what I put on my and my family's skin. As I'm sure you know, there are a lot of products out there that have very harmful chemicals and ingredients in them so be careful what you choose for your darling 6 year old!
