Homecoming Float Ideas: Trojans Vs Tigers?

What is a good homecoming float for us Trojans that are going against Kirksville Tigers? It has to be something about Tigers.

Please bare in mind that I am a Brit and therefore this suggestion may be great or in very bad taste as we do have a diiferent sense of humour over here. Tigers are an endangered species! prehaps you could do something around that as your theme.

Hmm, I was thinking something along the lines of "Cage those Tigers" or "Tame those Tigers." You might have one or more people dress up as tigers, and at least one Trojan in costume. If you go with the caged thing, a simple "cage" could be just long dowel rods and styrofoam or similar material.

The cage, if you use it, should be tall enough to be seen, at least.
If you use the "tame" theme, think how the lion tamer at the circus does his act. Same costumes, but a bullwhip and wooden chair instead of the cage. Our middle-school did something similar for the Bulldogs vs the Falcons yea, these many years ago.

Cage idea is good. Use chicken wire for the cage. It isn't expensive and gives the ambiance you want. My float (many years ago!) when The U was playing U of Fla. was a Miami player stuffing a football into the mouth of a gator (chicken wire and papier mache).

We won first in the Homecoming parade! If a full tiger costume is out, make ears, whiskers and a tail. That would work! Have fun! Cay from FL
