Chocolate Cherry Cake

• 1 chocolate cake mix
• 3 eggs (beaten with fork)
• 1 can cherry pie filling

Directions

Combine and mix well with a wooden spoon. Put in a greased and floured jellyroll pan or 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes for 9x13 pan or 20-25 minutes for jellyroll pan. Check with toothpick before this amount of time is up. 1/2 cup to 1 cup chopped nuts and 1 tsp. almond flavoring may be added before baking.

Icing:

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 5 Tbsp. margarine
• 1/3 cup milk
• 6 oz. chocolate chips

Directions

In sauce pan, bring to boil sugar, margarine, and milk. Boil 1 minute, add chips, blend well. Pour over warm cake.
