Blond Brownies

Ingredients

• 2 cups flour
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 2/3 cup butter
• 2 eggs
• 1/4 tsp. soda
• 1 tsp. salt
• 2 cups brown sugar
• 2 tsp. vanilla

• 1 cup chocolate chips
• 1/3 cup nuts

Directions

Mix flour, soda, baking powder and salt. Melt butter in pan; add sugar. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture. Spread in ungreased 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle with chips and nuts; bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
