Dealing with a Garden on a Steep Slope

On this steep slope leading up to the lawn, I used natural rocks found around our property to make tiers. On the bottom tier, I planted sweet alyssum and sedum. On the second tier is rainbow swiss chard. The third tier has compact sunflowers.

You did a fantastic job in a very difficult location. You could give lessons to professional gardeners!

Very attractive and partially EDIBLE, too. If you have any wild ordinary clover on your property, WASH AND EAT IT, unless you've sparyed with chemicals, because it's what Lemon Grass SHOULD taste like...ie, LEMON flavored for adding fresh to salads and delicious with cooked Swiss Chard. During your meals, you can pop some sunflower seeds, right?
