Crystal Vase Stuck to Wood Table?

I set a crystal vase on my cherry wood dining room table. It is now stuck and I cannot seem to get it off. Any suggestions?

Try heating the vase near the base with a hair dryer.

Either use a metal spatula or a metal paint scraper and see if you can gently slip it under the bottom of the vase to release the seal.
