Wash Sponges With Laundry

I use a covered sponge at the bathroom sink and the kitchen sink. To keep them fresh and last longer, on laundry day, I safety pin the two together and put in with a load of laundry. I do not dry them, just put them in the proper sink when I get back upstairs. No more gunky sponges.

I toss my dish sponge in the dish washer.

I also just toss my sponge into the top shelf of my dishwasher, you can also microwave it on high for 1 minute for sanitizing. It's just so easy to throw it in the dishwasher when I have a load to wash.
