Is Catnip Safe for Dogs?

I know animals like to eat grass, but is catnip OK for a dog to eat to?

It is safe for dogs but like anything else, it has to be in very small amounts. Some holistic vets use it to help with gas in dogs! :)

Catnip is a member of the mint family. Before it's dried the smell is very minty. As an herb it should not hurt your dog, but I wouldn't let them over do it.

I'm really surprised a dog would even want to eat it!
