Easy Microwave Fudge

I found this recipe on the internet. It is the best fudge I have ever had and so easy. It is made using Hershey or Nestle's chips. and a can of cake frosting. The directions are:

Using a microwaveable dish, spread the chips over the bottom of dish and cook for 90 seconds. Then put the whole can of frosting on top of the chips in the dish and cook that for 90 seconds. The frosting will be melted. Now stir it real well to mix and pour into a 8x8 inch pan that has been buttered. Cool, cut into squares and enjoy...

How many hershey or nestle chips? One bag? More? This recipe, which I will try someday, sounds easy enough, but it doesn't appear that one bag of chips would be enough.

Thank you.

Mary, that sounds very good and easy! Here is another similar one.........using the chocolate frosting. It is called cookie but is more like candy. I don't know where I got the recipe.

Fun Rum Cookie

1 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans,
1 tsp. rum extract
1/2 can ready to spread vanilla or chocolate fudge frosting.
1/2 cup cup confectioners sugar.

Combine all ingredients, except confectioner's sugar in a large bowl. Stir and blend well. Using 1 tsp. at a time, form into a ball in the palm of your hand. Roll in confectioner's sugar. Store in tightly covered jar.

I also want to know how much chocolate chips. Maybe a small whole bag?

I wasn't sure about the amount of ingredients needed to try this recipe so I searched around on the internet and found this. I believe it's the original recipe posted.
