We moved into a 11 year old house that has a HUGE fiberglass whirlpool tub in the master bath. Its original color is beige but it has, what I believe is water staining, that I cannot get out. Its not rust, lime, or any other one I know of. I've tried CLR, Lime Away, Clorox etc. All the common type cleaners. Anyone got a suggestion how to clean this thing?

if your not able to clean it free from stain why not paint it. i think its krylon that makes the new spay paints for any type plastic now. you could just run a tape line to just above where the stain is and paint it. use a color that would compliment your color theme in the room. you could even use a stencil that is deorative for the top boarder line verses just a straight line.
Bar Keepers Friend works great on fiberglass and other plastics.
If you know for sure that this stain was caused by the local water, you may want to consider having the water tested and maybe installing a whole-house water filter. You really don't want to make this an annual chore, right? Right.
A can of Bar Keepers Friend can be found at most grocery stores for about 2 bucks. I'm pretty sure that will do the trick. However, if it doesn't, look for a toilet bowl cleaner that's safe for fiberglass.
You may ask: "A fiberglass toilet? Since when?"
I would reply: "Since they started putting heads on boats."
Call a boat shop-- ask them what they have in the way of "Head Cleaners."
Just tell them you own a houseboat, you dreamer...

If you know anyone in your area that sells Amway, look for a product called "Bathroom Cleaner Plus". It is a little expensive, but a little goes a long way.
