Heat Pinecones In Microwave For Craft Projects

Pine cones can be put into the microwave and heated on low temperature. Cones that have not opened will open up. They will be an undamaged specimen for craft projects. While doing this you will experience another benefit, free room freshener.

Pine cones that are slightly squished or in generally sad condition or almost pulverized can be heated in the microwave. This gives the real Christmas tree scent. Heat the cones and your room with the fake tree will get an added dimension.

Some pinecones are tightly sealed with resin. Will they not catch on fire in the microwave? What setting did you use for this project? I don't want to try this till I hear back from you.

Okay, this was a total waste of everyone's time! You never answered anybody's question about time and temp.
