Peanut Butter Cookies

Silver Post Medal for All Time! 297 Posts

This recipe only uses 3 ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions:

Blend all ingredients well and roll into small balls. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and flatten the balls with a glass bottom dipped in sugar. Dip the glass in the sugar after flattening each cookie. Bake at 350 degrees F until golden brown. This recipe also works very well baked in a brownie pan and cut into bars when cool. While still hot, pour about 1/2-1 whole bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips on top. Spread to smooth while warm. Cool and cut into bars.

What is oat flour and can you use regular flour? (02/24/2007)

By Judy W

Editor's Note Oat Flour is available in most grocery stores, with other alternative flours. There are several other Peanut Butter Cookie recipes that do not call for a specialty flour in the archives
